EDUCATION

To become certified by the CATA as an Athletic Therapist, an applicant must FIRST meet the requirements of the written examination, including achieving at least 70% on the national examination. The SECOND requirement is to complete the oral-practical certification examination including achieving at least 70% on both the field and clinical stations of the national examination.

In order to attempt the National Board Examination you must be a graduate of an Athletic Therapy program at an accredited institution listed below.
